Local Safeguarding Partnerships

Local Safeguarding Partnerships (LSPs) are local safeguarding meetings where partners come together across children & adult services to identify the safeguarding need of areas and look to address this need through partnership working.

The groups have only recently launched and run on a quarterly basis in:

  • Harrogate & Craven
  • Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale
  • Hambleton & Richmondshire
  • Selby

Each group is looking to broaden membership and you can link with your local group by requesting to be added to the appropriate circulation list by making contact with the business support lead for your local area:

Chair: To be confirmed July 2021
Vice-Chair: To be confirmed July 2021
Business Support: susan.watson@northyorks.gov.uk

Board and Partnership updates for the LSPs

Each quarter the NYSAB, North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NYSCP) and North Yorkshire Community Safety Partnership (NYCSP) provide an update to the Local Safeguarding Partnerships.

Since July 2021 we have recorded these updates and the narrated slides are now available from the dropdown menu below.

The update for the Local Safeguarding Partnerships (LSPs) for quarter 2 is available as a narrated PowerPoint presentation and can be accessed here
