Local Safeguarding Partnerships

Local Safeguarding Partnerships (LSPs) are local safeguarding meetings where partners come together across children & adult services to identify the safeguarding need of areas and look to address this need through partnership working.

The groups run on a quarterly basis in:

  • Harrogate & Craven
  • Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale
  • Hambleton & Richmondshire
  • Selby

Each group is looking to broaden membership and you can link with your local group by requesting to be added to the appropriate circulation list by making contact with the business support lead for your local area:

Each quarter the NYSAB, North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NYSCP) and North Yorkshire Community Safety Partnership (NYCSP) provide an update to the Local Safeguarding Partnerships.
